⚠️ Flood watch in place for Banff National Park rivers

Throughout Banff National Park expect to see flood mitigation preparedness and crews in several areas, specifically low laying areas such as along the Bow and Pipestone rivers.

Reminder:
✔️ Trail conditions may change throughout the next few days, please monitor important bulletins and respect trail signage
✔️Avoid flooded areas
✔️Stay well back from riverbanks, which may be unstable
✔️Do not enter or paddle in fast-moving water—even shallow water can be dangerous

Parks Canada, is actively monitoring conditions and preparing response measures, including sandbagging and readiness to deploy temporary flood barriers if needed.

‼️ At this time, no action is required from residents or visitors, but this is a good opportunity to review your emergency plans.
