Our April episode for is available now!

For podcasters outside the journalistic tradition, there have been few guardrails around how content is gathered and produced. With the emergence of AI there's even more to think about.

This episode takes a listen to a panel CPI hosted in March of 2026 that brought journalists, podcasters, and students together for a conversation on the ethics of journalistic podcasting and the inevitable implications of AI in the practice.

Our host Emma Miller sits down with Dr. Meg Wilcox who just returned from defending her thesis at the University of Glasgow.

They chat about her thesis questions, inclusivity in podcasting, and how her award winning podcast series, Static: A Party Girls Memoir, corresponds with practice-based research approaches.

Dr. Wilcox is the co-director of the CPI and is a journalism professor at Mount Royal University.
