Did you know that the Society of Broadcasting is hosting yet another Student Media Festival on April 10th?

It's from 4-7pm at the Jenkins Theatre, and personally, I'm looking forward to recreating this photo with my good buddies.

I'll see you there!

CMRU.ca is Mount Royal University’s student-run radio and television station in Calgary, Alberta. Broadcasting students first signed on in 1965 and they have been on the air ever since. The radio station streams 24/7 on the internet 365 days a year!

CMRU.ca Radio & TV has a dynamic feel to it with plenty of enthusiasm. It’s all about experimenting for the students, often making mistakes but picking themselves back up and learning as much as possible. It’s about building unity within the students, the program and the faculty at Mount Royal University.

CMRU.ca gives students in the Bachelor of Communication – Broadcast Media Studies program an opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in all aspects of radio and television. The studios are equipped with current, state-of-the-art equipment and technology allowing students to excel in writing, editing, recording, reporting and production of on-air programs.

Students are encouraged to be creative, take chances and not be afraid of the camera or microphone! You never quite know what to expect on CMRU.ca, but we think that’s what makes it worth checking out!
