I submitted this poem to the "Poetry X Hunger" website. The project has been featured on "The Poetry Joint" in the past. It features poetry that addresses the problem of hunger in the world and in other small ways raises some monies and awareness of the issue of hunger through poetry.

The interview studio at CJSW, adjoins the small editing studio and backs on the live music studio which adjoins the live broadcast booth and the live performance space. It can be a busy place although it was relatively quiet yesterday. Fortunately for "The Poetry Joint", there have been many conversations with poets in-studio and via Zoom over the last little while.

Not every book is a new book. This was published in 1971 and still gets taken out of my shelf every now and then. The Edward S. Curtis photos would only have been taken if he had taken them. Some quotes may be inaccurate. Intent. To create another perspective? I believe so.
