What if I told you there's an entire side of the Moon that almost no one on Earth ever sees? 🌑

We only ever see one face of the Moon because it's tidally locked to us. The other side - the far side - is hidden forever from our view.

And no, it's NOT permanently dark. It gets just as much sunlight. We just called it the "dark side" because we didn't know.

But here's the crazy part: The far side looks nothing like our side. No smooth dark seas. It's just crater after crater after crater - one of the oldest, most violent landscapes in our entire solar system.

It's not hiding aliens... it's hiding 4 BILLION years of history.

We landed on the Moon in 1969 with less tech than your phone...

So why haven't we gone back in over 50 years? 🤔

It wasn't because we lost the technology. The truth is simpler and more frustrating.

After Apollo, the government slashed NASA's budget by almost 90%. The political race was won, and the Moon became too expensive. NASA was forced to pivot to cheaper projects - space stations, the Space Shuttle, and robots.

We didn't stop because we couldn't. We stopped because we stopped caring.

But now... we're finally going back. The Artemis program is preparing for the next footsteps on the Moon in this decade.

Ingenuity was supposed to fly 5 times. Just a test.
It flew 72.
For 3 years it scouted Mars, sent back images no human had ever seen, and proved we can FLY on another planet.
Then on flight 72, its rotor blades were damaged. It could never fly again.
It died alone on Mars, 140 million miles from home... but it opened the sky for everything that comes next.
