So what is creating the roller coaster Stampeders season? Some inspiring moments but also winnable games sliding between their fingers. And, soon, the season will slide between their fingers.

OBIT: Some awful news for Calgary and Calgary Flames fans. Flames broadcaster Peter Maher has passed away. He was 79 and passed away at his home here in Calgary. Maher was the primary play-by-play broadcaster from 1981-2014). He was the soundtrack of the Flames most prolific decades, 1980s

I had just texted with him yesterday about the news rights deal secure by CHQR Radio. Shocking to say the least. Even more shocking is our colleague, Jock Wilson, had him on the air as a guest on his show last night!

Fabulous broadcaster, fabulous person. Our condolencs to his family and all Flames fans
