Too bad about the first dump of snow being just as I had a job in Banff, but always glad to have a job. A few pics and behind the scenes of my annual corporate karaoke party. 150 people expected and they almost all try to get up and sing at once, it is crazy… but crazy fun. Unfortunately no video of the event, they want it private… This year at “The Bison”.

Having a GREAT time DJing tonight at Heritage Park for the second outdoor movie night. Interesting talking to the guys setting up the video screen, and planning to test my wireless cameras on it next time. Pre event planning! Big things coming from my new camera system! Can’t wait to try sending live video to a massive screen. A precursor to huge outdoor events with VideoTekk!

It is a big outdoor area to cover so playing louder than ever before (but fine for people sitting in the distance). I can even hear me over where the “midway” is and I am at half volume. Going at louder volumes does mean increased risk of blowing a speaker, but not close to that yet. I usually travel with backups too.

Great weather compared to the first time where the end of the night got completely rained out (but it never stopped anything). Oh I always love it so much anytime I get to do anything, especially in such a nice environment.

Very busy right now getting "out in the wild" and doing all kinds of testing with my new Remote controlled wireless PTZ cameras! I will be debuting them at a wedding at the end of Sept, and otherwise will be getting out and doing everything I can with them outdoors. Things are very different "out in the wild" compared to the "test lab", but both are necessary.

This camera system is going to be unprecedented in Alberta's wedding film industry... As far as I know, once again I am the very first to be getting out there with advanced camera technology and breaking new ground! I first started using wireless remote controlled cameras over 5 years ago already, and have developed two different systems to do that work for different purposes.

Whether it is a wedding or anything else concerning LIVE EVENTS that need to be documented: My ability to cover it in a way other services cannot match just increases all the time!

Simultaneous angles from 9 or more cameras, all with the ability to project live to screens, live stream, and record everything with full graphics production and operated by a single person... It is incredible!

I will need to coming up with new video packages for my future clients, but in the meantime prior to being able to POST that, I will be doing CUSTOM QUOTES.

To think of what I offer people AND I am less than HALF the price OR MORE that the average "2 camera single videographer business" out there (of which there are 100 similar). But there is NO ONE LIKE VIDEOTEKK
