White Jalabias Take Over Munuki! Twic Mayardit Elders Join Fans in Championship Celebration

It was a sea of white at Munuki Playground this evening as Twic Mayardit elders, led by Gen. Bona Panek Biar, Acuil Malith Banggol (the legendary founder of Twic Olympics), BCPT President Major Ayar, and other dignitaries, joined the jubilant White Family fans to celebrate their latest victory in the Bahr el Ghazal Counties Peace Tournament Championship.

Dressed head-to-toe in traditional white jalabias, the elders looked less like officials and more like lifelong superfans, dancing, cheering, and even tossing peace signs to the roaring crowd. The atmosphere was electric, mixing football glory with community pride and plenty of laughter.

“It’s not just a win; it’s a Twic-style festival,” one fan shouted over the drums and whistles.

As twilight fell over Munuki, one thing was clear, when the White Family wins, the whole of Twic Mayardit celebrates—and they do it in style, unity, and bright white fashion. ⚽🤍
