We did not anticipate the number of bottle wash and sterilizations needed when you have a baby! 😳😳

We just did not want bottle washing to be one of the things that we’ll have to worry about so we got this bottle/breast pump washer and sterilizer.
Apart from our breast milk warmer, this might be our most used equipment since e having Johnny🤔.

If you can afford it, outsource certain things, you will gain more time with your little one! Imagine the amount of time we would’ve been spending in a day just to wash and sterilize bottles. Hmmm!🫠

This morning, I woke up to my child's little smiley face. No fancy plans, no grand appearances, just sleepy eyes, messy hair, and that wide smile from my son. ❤️

And in that moment, I realized I am the richest I've ever been. Not in money, but in love, in presence, in involvement, in purpose.🥹

So, I linger in that moment because my hair will be made again, I will sleep later, my appearance will be grand again, the bed will be made later. Everything will be/happen again, but my little one will never be this little again. So yes, I linger. 🫠🥰❤️

Keeping it real…

Mom:
“I did not do anything productive today.😩”

Baby:
“Mommy, I had the best day today because you held me and made me feel loved and safe, bathed me, kept my tummy full, played with me and made me laugh a lot🕺. Thank you mommy🥰.”

Life is not lived one highlight after another . We get more stuff done on some days and absolutely nothing done on others and that is okay. As long as we are healthy and in a good headspace, we can always catchup with activities.

Sometimes, life gives you a baby who wants to be held because God wants you to slow down😄.
Remember to take that much needed rest from time to time👌🏽.

Taking walks as a family is something we derive a lot of joy doing, and Summer ‘25 was amazing!💃🏼😍🥰

As a postpartum mom, I find walking incredibly beneficial, both physically and emotionally. It also strengthens our bond as a family, energizes, relieves stress, allows us to be present without distractions from screens or chores and helps us stay fit😍.

We went for a walk to explore our beautiful city - The “Blue Sky City”🥰
