Sabit Babajan is the Uyghur writer and painter, who was born in Dadamtu town of Ghulja in 1941. His grandfather Babajan was the former National Army soldier and who worked in the government of the Eastern Turkistan Republic. After the Chinese occupation, His grandfather was arrested by the Chinese communist regime. In the prison, his grandfather told him: my son, do not upset, the truth my bends, but will not break, one day, the truth will be revealed. Although we fought and shed so countless bloods, we are oppressed by the Chinese communists. His paintings mostly depict the beautiful Uyghur land, the famous Uyghur figures such as Mahmut Kashkari, Yusup Has Hajip, Iparhan, Ahmatjan Kasimi and so on. Recently, he published a collection of his works, and entered more than 300 paintings to the collection.
