Hockey season is here, which has us thinking about our recent work with Sherwood Hockey 🏒

In addition to live-streaming this year's Sherwood sales conference, Maven designed and installed a custom set — complete with hockey boards and simulated ice. From 3D render to reality, we always enjoy creating unique elements that take an event to the next level!

A/V Support 🤝 Live Streaming Services

Maven was in Banff earlier this year for the Family Medicine Summit! We provided the Alberta College of Family Physicians with A/V support across the main stage and four breakout rooms, while live streaming presentations to hundreds of attendees.

Character movement is key to bringing your animated marketing videos to life! Here's a quick rundown of how it works 🏃‍♂️

As we build a new character, we identify the location of each "joint" — the connection points between various parts of the body.

Next, we manually position the joints into all of the character's key poses, creating a fluid sense of motion as they move through a scene.

We repeat the process until we've animated every unique movement — providing the video with dynamic, engaging characters!

Maven is very proud to be an official video partner for the upcoming Enbridge Tour Alberta For Cancer event! 🚴‍♀️

On July 20-21, the Alberta Cancer Foundation will bring together thousands of cyclists to raise funds for essential cancer research and treatment in our province. This will be our third year capturing b-roll and filming interviews for the event, which we use to create impactful video content for ACF's ongoing fundraising efforts.
