It was borne out of an inspiration from a book quote from Max Lucado's Cure for the Common Life, Living in the Sweet Spot. "Use your uniqueness (what you do) to make a big deal out of God (why you do it) everyday of your life (where you do it)."

At the convergence of all three, you'll find your sweet spot.

Life in the sweet spot rolls like the downhill side of a downwind bike ride. But you don’t have to swing a bat or a club to know this. What engineers give sports equipment, God gave you. A zone, a region, a life precinct in which you were made to dwell. He tailored the curves of your life to fit an empty space in his jigsaw puzzle. Just a Random Thought 😊

The older I get, the more I realize that we really don’t know the full story behind other people’s lives.

We see what people choose to share. The celebrations, the nice things, the good news, the trips…and sometimes we make assumptions from there.

But we don’t see everything behind the scenes.

People have different priorities, responsibilities, struggles, goals, and ways of managing their lives. What may look easy or simple from the outside may have taken a lot of work, planning, or sacrifice.

So I think it’s always better to give people a little grace and not assume we know what’s going on just because we see a small part of the picture.

Everyone is doing life differently.

Less judging, less comparing, and a little more understanding. 😊❤️

Let the Work Speak 🥰

Sometimes the recognition you expect isn’t the recognition that matters most.

Today, I had the opportunity to present UAT findings and walk through the results with key project stakeholders. The discussion was productive, the findings were reviewed, and the session was a success.

And then came the simple words that meant a lot:

“Thank you.” ❤️

It reminded me that meaningful recognition doesn’t always come in the form of a spotlight, a shout-out, or a formal acknowledgment.

Sometimes it comes from the people who actually experienced your work firsthand.

So keep showing up.
Keep doing the work.
Keep bringing solutions to the table.

You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room when your work speaks for itself.

And sometimes… that’s the best “You Rock” of all. 😄🤘

Maybe the next chapter isn’t about becoming someone new.
Maybe it’s about finally recognizing who you’ve become.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much my career has evolved.

Journalism.
Corporate Communications.
Contracts.
Procurement.
Information governance.
Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM)
Systems & Governance.
Project Management / User Acceptance Testing.
AI.
Value capture.
Transformation.

For a long time, I saw these as separate chapters.

Now I see the thread.

I’ve always been drawn to connecting things that don’t naturally connect.

People with processes.
Business needs with technology.
Information with decisions.
Systems with outcomes.
And increasingly, transformation with measurable value.

That realization has changed how I think about career growth.

Earlier in my career, I often asked:

“What do I need to learn next?”

Then:

“What role should I pursue next?”

Now I find myself asking a different question:

“Where can my experience create the greatest impact?”

That’s a very different kind of ambition.

It’s less about titles.
Less about proving yourself.
And more about being intentional with what you bring, what you learn, and where you focus your energy.

I’m also learning that leadership isn’t always about being the person with the answers.

Sometimes it’s being the person who sees the connection others haven’t seen yet.
Sometimes it’s asking the question that brings clarity.
Sometimes it’s creating structure where there is ambiguity.
And sometimes, it’s simply having the confidence to say:

“I don’t know yet—but I know how to figure it out.”

After decades of building, learning, adapting, and reinventing, I’m becoming less interested in simply having a successful career.

I’m more interested in building a meaningful one.

One where experience becomes wisdom, challenges become perspective, and expertise becomes something that creates value beyond myself.

Perhaps the best part of a career isn’t reaching a point where you no longer have anything to prove.

It’s reaching a point where you realize:

You never did.

The next chapter isn’t about starting over.

It’s about building from everything you’ve already become.

True leadership begins in the unseen.

Not in titles. Not in recognition. But in the quiet obedience of how we show up when no one is applauding.

It is serving without needing credit.
It is choosing wisdom over reaction.
It is building with excellence even when the outcome is uncertain.

Scripture reminds us that faithfulness in little things leads to greater things. And I’ve found that to be true—not just in life, but in leadership.

Because who we are when no one is watching…
is often who we truly are.

Leadership, then, becomes less about control and more about character. Less about visibility and more about integrity.

And in that space, growth becomes sacred. ☺️

I bought this photo frame in the summer of 2013, during our family’s very first trip to Seattle.

Funny enough, I never ended up putting a family photo in it. Almost every frame I’ve bought from our travels holds a memory from that place; but this one remained empty.

Until now, I think I understand why.

Last summer, our eldest (our daughter) got engaged to someone who was born and raised in Washington, USA. And suddenly, my thoughts went back to this frame… and to our family’s journey.

As our children grow—our daughter, now stepping into a new chapter, and our son, who will one day do the same—I’m realizing that our story is still unfolding. It doesn’t end; it evolves. Each chapter becomes richer, deeper, and more meaningful than the last.

Maybe this frame was never meant for the past.

Maybe it’s been quietly waiting… for something bigger, brighter, and still to come. 🥰 ❤️ 🇵🇭 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

Standing in St. Peter’s Basilica and walking through Vatican City was truly awe-inspiring. The beauty, the history, the deep sense of reverence—it all reminds you of how many people, across generations, have sought God.

But this Easter, I was reminded of something even deeper…

Faith is not just about tradition, rituals, or places—no matter how sacred they are. It’s about a personal relationship with Jesus.

Easter is the story of love:
Jesus died for our sins, and He rose again.
Not just as a historical event—but as a living truth that changes lives today.

I used to think faith was about doing the right things, showing up, and following practices. But now I understand—it’s about knowing Him, walking with Him, and experiencing His grace daily.

What touched me most is this:
You can stand in the most beautiful churches in the world, and still miss the heart of the message… or you can encounter Jesus anywhere, and your life will never be the same.

This Easter, my prayer is simple:
That we don’t just observe it—we truly understand it.
That we don’t just admire faith—we live it.
And that we come to know Jesus, not just in history, but personally.

Because He is risen… and He is still transforming lives today ✝️❤️
