True and proper worship is deeper than raised hands, emotional music, or how many worship songs we sing.
In Romans 12:1–2, Paul explained what true worship really is:
“To offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
Not by destroying ourselves physically, but by dying to sin daily and becoming more like Christ in character, words, and actions. Worship is not only what happens during church service; worship is how we live when nobody is watching.
And Paul continued:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world...”
In a time where many teachings try to set aside the law of God, may we stand like Paul who said, “we establish the law.” The same Paul also wrote that the law is holy, just, and good.
True worship is a surrendered life.
A life that seeks holiness.
A life that chooses obedience over compromise.
A life pleasing to God, even when the world goes the opposite direction.
May our worship not only be heard in songs, but be seen in the way we live.
