We took home Bronze 🥉🎉
This past weekend was spent in Cochrane for a ringette tournament; Airbnb living, lots of team bonding, and skating our hearts out.

The games were fast and competitive! I played forward and scored one goal (plus another that sadly didn’t count… still calling it a win 😅). All that summer running definitely paid off with the cardio. I did end up catching a cold, which made breathing a bit of a struggle, but sometimes all you can do is show up and give it your best.

Give back this holiday season with these three non-profit organizations that do so much good to the world!

1. workingformorehealthequity.ca is an organization fighting for health equity in Calgary, AB, they discovers and support local medical research organizations

2. arthritissociety.ca funds arthritis research across Canada, provides support groups for those struggling and works with the University of Calgary to run trials and tests

3. habitatsouthernab.ca builds safe and affordable housing for those in a tight financial position

I personally love and have volunteered or worked for all three of these organizations. So, if you are looking for somewhere to put a few extra dollars, these are certainly worthy causes!

May we always remember the sacrifices of those who protected and continue to protect our incredible nation 🌺

Though social media has aided in division, I am glad that today represents a day that without sacrifice, we could not stand together as a nation.

Without the stories of the past, we would not be able to move forward. Remembering history prevent its repetition.

Today, we all have ancestors who fought for freedom 💕

All my ideas were sunny skies, light flares, warm vibes and snuggles! But we got cold and rain?! On our engagement photos day?! 😭

This literally feels like the worst, especially when you take the day off work, wake up early to drive into the mountains for sunrise, do your hair and make-up, organize with the photographer… and you wake up to sub-par temperatures and rain. ☔️

I did feel like I was scrambling on what to do and how to pose for the photos, without ruining my hair, make-up and outfits!
