Plant-based goodness from Pachamama Soul Cafe. I was in the deep south today, so it was good a time as any to visit this very popular vegan cafe. The choices for plant-based food in Calgary are getting more and more diverse. One of the more frustrating parts about trying to eat well is the lack of convenient spots to visit, but here I am.

What I like most about this cafe, other than the welcoming vibe, the friendly staff, and the numerous plants, is the homey and soulful style of food. The soup was hearty and brimming with vegetables. Simple, yet so satisfying. The grilled sandwich was toasted to a nice crisp finish, with a savoury chickpea, spinach, and artichoke dip with vegan cheese.

The menu changes often with different features all the time, so its in my best interest to return and try more of their popular dishes.
