✨ Our little Zara had such a beautiful time at ICAC Parents Day 2026 celebrating Igbo culture, heritage, and family values. ❤️💛🖤

This year’s theme, “Roots and Wisdom,” truly brought generations together through culture, learning, music, and celebration. We are proud to see our daughter embracing her Igbo heritage with joy and confidence. 🥰

Big thanks to the organizers and the City of Calgary for creating such a memorable event at the Nigerian House.

Culture is a treasure, and teaching our children their roots is a gift that lasts forever

One scary parenting moment 💔

After trying a Slurpee, Zara suddenly felt unwell and we ended up in the emergency room with itching and dizziness.

We’re thankful she is okay now 💚

This experience reminded us how important it is to pay attention to children’s reactions to certain foods and drinks.
