🎶 Live from White Owl Film Studios — Zeegwon Shilling 🌿✨

A powerful moment from National Canadian Film Day as Zeegwon Shilling shared his voice, energy, and spirit with us on Treaty 3 territory at Wahnapitae First Nation.

Music has a way of bringing us together — and Zeegwon’s performance did just that. Miigwetch for helping us open the day in such a meaningful way.

🎤 "This is what it looks like when we invest in our own stories." 🎬

A clip from my speech at National Canadian Film Day at White Owl Film Studios — held on Treaty 3 territory at Wahnapitae First Nation.

It was an honour to speak about the importance of Indigenous leadership in film, the power of local stories, and why Northern Ontario has something special to say on the national stage.

Miigwetch to everyone who made this day possible. Let’s keep building, creating, and celebrating together.
