🗳️Marty Crapper has filed for re-election as councillor.
🗳️ Barry Card is also seeking re-election as councillor.
🗳️ Joe Aragona has announced his candidacy for mayor.

And in one of the biggest announcements of the election season, longtime Mayor Robin Jones has announced she will not seek re-election.

Open to all local families, the evening will feature interactive health stations, goodie bags for the kids, and resources on building healthy habits. Guest speaker Lisa Livingston, the mental health lead for the UCDSB, will kick off the event at 5:30 p.m.

Based at Portland United Church, these dedicated volunteers provide specially made quilts for local residents in palliative care and cancer treatment. Their work represents a long-standing tradition of community care and support across the region.

The inaugural Rideau Lakes Fire House Cup Hockey Tournament takes place this Saturday, March 7, at the Westport Arena.

The action begins with the first puck drop at 9:00 am between Rideau Lakes and Leeds. Eight regional fire department teams will compete throughout the day to support four local food banks. Fans are encouraged to bring food or monetary donations to the arena to support the cause.
