My friend spent several minutes lovingly petting what she thought was her kitten inside her pajama pants… then her partner told her the kitten was in the bathroom 😱🐀

Women have been shamed for gossiping for centuries. But what if gossip has actually played an important role in building communities, sharing knowledge, and holding people accountable?

This Friday, Zabrina, Kori, and Jen explore the surprising history of gossip and why it may not deserve its bad reputation.

Because sometimes “spilling the tea” is about a lot more than drama. 👀🫖

What started as three women talking…
turned into a community.

Thank you for every follow,

We’re taking a short pause before Season Two begins in July.

Time to regroup.
Refocus.
And come back louder.

Some topics are hard to talk about, but staying silent doesn’t protect women and girls.

This Friday, join us for a compassionate and educational conversation about FGM, survivor experiences, and the global fight for bodily autonomy and human rights. ❤️

This Friday on Murder of Crones we’re talking about a difficult but important topic: Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM).

This episode approaches the subject with care, compassion, and respect for survivors while exploring the history, cultural pressures, human rights concerns, and the lasting impact on women and girls around the world.

Some conversations are uncomfortable — but silence helps no one. ❤️

Women who smile are often seen as “fine.” Women with a serious expression are labeled difficult, cold, or untrustworthy.

Meanwhile, both are trying to be heard by the medical system.

If we smile, our pain can be dismissed. If we don’t, we’re judged for it.

Women really cannot win.

Nothing says ‘I respect women’ quite like telling us to smile. 🙃
Maybe we’re thinking. Maybe we’re tired. Maybe our face is just… our face.

And no, asking if we’re mad, upset, or ‘okay?’ every 5 minutes because we’re not performing happiness for public comfort isn’t charming — it’s exhausting.

Women don’t owe the world a pleasant expression.
Sometimes it’s not a bad mood… it’s just a resting face with boundaries. 😏

Trying to film a convincing resting bitch face for this Friday’s episode and instead we just look mildly confused, constipated, or like someone stole our reading glasses. Apparently true RBF can’t be forced… it’s earned through years of patriarchy, customer service, and being asked to smile more. 😒🖤
