🌲 Terpene Spotlight: Pinene 🌿

Take a deep breath in the forest; that fresh, crisp pine aroma? You’ve probably encountered pinene. 👃🌲

Pinene is one of the most common terpenes found in cannabis, and it’s also naturally present in pine trees, rosemary, basil, and other plants. As its name suggests, it’s known for its distinctive piney, fresh, and herbal aroma.

But why does pinene matter when it comes to cannabis?

Terpenes help give each cultivar its unique aroma, flavour, and character. Two strains can have similar THC levels but smell and taste completely different because their terpene profiles are different.
