One thing I’ve learned about creating content is that some of the best ideas don’t come from sitting behind a screen. They come from new perspectives, and being surrounded by people who inspire you. So we’re creating a space for exactly that.

And if you know High Caliber, you know they don’t just take you out on the water, they curate exceptional experiences. From the details to the atmosphere, they know how to host and make people feel taken care of from the moment you step onboard.

No pressure to show up with a perfectly planned shot list. No “you need to create this many pieces of content. Just a day to explore, create with the TJC Team, share ideas, and have some fun along the way.

Meet Erin, our Story Weaver. ✨

One of the newest members of the TJC team, Erin has already brought so much intention, and fresh perspective to the stories we help our clients tell. She has a way of finding the moments that matter and weaving them into something that feels thoughtful, and deeply human.

Outside of the creative world, Erin is also a yoga teacher, and if you’ve met her, that probably makes perfect sense. She brings a calm, grounded energy into everything she does, along with a curiosity and creativity that we absolutely love.

At TJC, we believe the best stories are created by people who see the world a little differently, and Erin does exactly that.

We’re so grateful she’s part of this team and can’t wait for you to experience the magic she brings to the brands we have the privilege of serving.

This is the life I built. And honestly? I would not change a single chaotic beautiful exhausting wonderful minute of it.

There is something nobody really talks about when it comes to running an agency and raising tiny humans at the same time. It is not just the juggle. It is the constant toggling between versions of yourself throughout the day. The mom. The strategist. The creative. The Wife. The one trying to be fully present in two places that both need all of you.

Some days the commute is long and the to do list is longer and the goodbye at daycare does not get easier no matter how many times you do it. Some days the best work happens at 9pm when the house is finally quiet and the kids are asleep and you remember who you are outside of the snack requests and bedtime negotiations.

And somehow in the middle of all of it there are content shoots that remind you why you started. Client meetings that fill your cup. Moments where the work and the life you are building for your family feel like the same thing pointing in the same direction.

This is not a highlight reel. It is just a Tuesday. The real kind. Messy and full and completely mine.

The humans behind the brands you love are out here living full lives. Just like yours. And I think that is kind of the whole point and we need to see more of it.

Your audience is smarter than you think.

They can tell when how you show up online isn't authentic and when you're trying too hard.

They can tell when your talking head feels scripted, loses the human side, and starts sounding like AI.

And they can definitely tell when you're saying what you think you're supposed to say instead of what you actually believe.

The businesses that build trust the fastest aren't the ones that sound the most polished; they're the ones that sound most human. People don't connect with perfection; they connect with people.

So let them see the bloopers, let them see the human behind the business.

If you haven't heard back from us in a couple hours, it's because we're working.

And by working, we mean adjusting the same image by two centimeters back and forth and back again. Why? Because we're convinced the two centimeters make a big difference...at least in our minds, it does!

Your post feels obligated...I know, I know. That’s probably not what you wanted to hear.

But we’ve all been there.

You’ve been busy running your business, you realize it’s been a while since you’ve posted, and suddenly you’re digging through your camera roll looking for something, anything, to put online.

That “anything” might help you stay visible, but it wasn’t created with intention.

It wasn’t created to speak to a specific customer, to build trust. It started with, “I should probably post something.” Not, “What do my customers need to hear from me right now?” Those are two very different starting points.

Before we ever create content for a client, we’re spending time understanding who they’re trying to reach, what they want to be known for, and what conversations actually matter to their audience.

Good marketing isn’t just about being visible. It’s about helping the right people understand why your business exists, how you can help them, and why they should trust you.

The post is simply the vehicle. The message is what does the heavy lifting.

Not every room is meant for you. But the right one can change everything.

Early on in the TJC days, I realized just how important it is to be surrounded by people who understand what you’re building. People who know the highs, the lows, the uncertainty, and the excitement that comes with entrepreneurship.

I also learned that not every room deserves your energy. But when you find one that is, you’ll feel it.

Being surrounded by strong, supportive women has shaped my business and personal growth. From my incredible team who continually encourage growth and support even my wildest ideas, to communities of female entrepreneurs like YVR Creatives, where I’ve been challenged, inspired, supported, and welcomed with open arms, I feel incredibly grateful for the rooms I’ve found myself in and the people inside them.

The reminders that you’re not doing this alone have made a bigger impact than I ever could have imagined. Growth doesn’t always come from a perfectly laid-out plan. Sometimes it comes from taking a chance on yourself, and walking into the damn room.

Take a chance...cause you might grow.

This industry does something to you.

You start caring about things nobody else in the room cares about. You start seeing the details that most people scroll right past. You start building systems that make complete sense to exactly you and nobody else.

And somewhere along the way it stops being a job and starts being the way your brain just works now.

Having a strong visual identity helps people recognize your business, builds trust, creates professionalism, and sets the tone for how your brand is perceived. It gives your business a foundation.

But where a lot of businesses get stuck is thinking the branding process ends once the logos, colours, fonts, and brand guide are complete.

That’s actually where the real work starts.

Your Brand isn’t just how your business looks. It’s how your business feels. It’s how your brand translates into your social media.

Your website.
Your messaging.
Your captions.
Your client experience.
Your tone of voice.
Your storytelling.
Your consistency.
