1. Best Theatrical Performance – Male (individual): Recognizing outstanding individual performance in theatre, comedy, musical, or drama.
2. Best Theatrical Performance – Female (individual): Recognizing outstanding individual performance in theatre, comedy, musical, or drama.
3. Best Theatrical Show – Group: Recognizing outstanding group performance in theatre, comedy, musical, or drama.
4. Musician of the Year – Male (individual): Recognizing outstanding male musicians who have exceled in their respective genres, demonstrating creativity, skill, artistry, and contributions to the music industry.
5. Musician of the Year – Female (individual): Recognizing outstanding female musicians who have exceled in their respective genres, demonstrating creativity, skill, artistry, and contributions to the music industry.
6. Musician of the Year – Duo or Group: Recognizing outstanding musicians who have exceled in their respective genres, demonstrating creativity, skill, artistry, and contributions to the music industry.
7. Film or Video Production of the Year: Acknowledging exceptional achievements in the field of film or video production, including fiction and non-fiction. Individual or group.
8. Visual Arts Excellence: Recognizing individuals that have demonstrated exceptional skill, creativity, and innovation in the field of visual arts. Individual or group ie, Painting, drawing, graphic design, carving, sculpting, animation, etc.
9. Top Writer: Honoring excellence in a fictional or non-fictional work.
Authors, poets, playwrights who have produced exceptional work. Individual or writing team.
10. Emerging Artist of the Year: Honouring talented and promising artists at the early stages of their careers and have shown significant potential in their chosen artistic discipline, in any artistic category. Individual or group.
11. Arts Education Champion Award – Individual: Recognizing individuals that have made notable efforts to promote and advance arts education, emphasizing the importance of creativity and artistic expression in learning.
12. Arts Education Champion Award – Group or Organization: Recognizing organizations, groups, and schools that have made notable efforts to promote and advance arts education, emphasizing the importance of creativity and artistic expression in learning.
13. Cultural Achievement Award: Recognizing efforts to preserve and promote cultural heritage or promote the broadening of cultural traditions through artistic endeavors, i.e. art, music, comedy, drama, dance, traditional crafts, or storytelling.
14. Public Art of the Year: Celebrating outstanding public art installations, and murals that enhance public spaces, engage communities, and contribute to Chilliwack’s cultural vibrancy. To be eligible, work must have taken place in the previous 3 years.
15. Uber-Achiever Award: Celebrating individuals or groups who have made substantial contributions to the arts over their lifetime through their own creative, artistic and performance achievements, and their advocacy of artists and the arts.
