We are proud of our new association with CIFF!

PRESS RELEASE
February 26, 2025, Chilliwack BC

The Chilliwack Independent Film Festival (CIFF) and The Chillies Awards are pleased to announce a strategic alliance for 2025.

"The Chilliwack Independent Film Festival celebrates the best in independent film and provides a platform for diverse voices to be heard. The now, Canadian Screen Award qualifying festival, started in 2017 and showcases the best in local and international film. The 9th edition returns November 19th to the 23rd with screenings, industry talks, workshops and Q & A's."

The Chillies Awards premiered to great fanfare November 22nd 2024 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, recognizing artists in a variety of entertainment categories including Film, Stage, Music, Visual Arts, Public Arts and Arts Educators. A recorded version of the program was produced by chillTV and received over 20000 views. The Chillies Awards, a co-venture of the Chilliwack Community Arts Council, The Chilliwack Progress & chillTV returns to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre, Friday November 7, 2025.

The new strategic alliance between CIFF and the Chillies will include co-marketing brands, sharing resources and key involvement in awards development.

We were thrilled by the performances last night by all our performers and host Cliff Prang.

As things are still a little bleary after the high energy Molson Coors Chillies Afterparty, bear with us as we assemble photos from the evening and a proper list of thankyou's.
