💭 a friendly reminder …

When your family is abroad, please remember just because you ask for something doesn’t mean they can always send it right away.
If they say, “I’m sorry, I can’t send it right now,don’t be upset.

They also have bills to pay, responsibilities to handle, and a life they’re trying to build in a foreign land. Their salary might look big when converted to pesos, but the cost of living abroad is much higher than back home. What seems like a large amount in the Philippines might barely cover their own needs overseas.

Most OFWs work long hours even overtime just to make ends meet. So when they still manage to send something home, no matter how small, please be thankful. That’s a part of their heart they’re sending back to you. ❤️

Money is not easy to earn abroad. It takes hard work, sacrifice, and sleepless nights.
So please be grateful, be understanding, and always appreciate their love and sacrifices.
