What is HTV and Sublimation?
We use quality products and materials with our HTV and sublimation processes. Our designs are completely customizable and long lasting.
HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) means using a source of heat, such as a heat press, to attach a high grade vinyl to a cloth material, typically cotton or mostly cotton such as t-shirts, caps, hand bags, hoodies etc.
Sublimation is the process of using a heat press to take a printed design and fuse it right into the material itself. The sublimation ink, when heated, turns into a gas and attaches itself into whatever material it is combined with. Where HTV attaches onto the material, sublimation attaches itself into the material making the design permanent. Sublimating into fabrics requires that the fabric be polyester or mostly polyester. We sublimate onto mugs, license plates, puzzles and other materials that have been specifically created for sublimation.
HTV is great for solid colors, lettering and simple designs and logos. Sublimation is great for simple to complex designs, photos, and text.
