ORONO FAIR ✅ 🔥 what an experience, full of highs and lows… but mostly highs ! Here’s the story:

1st set, I set the vibe as gates open, and it went great! Gave some shout outs, took a selfie with the crowd, had some fun! Opener came on and crushed. I go back up for my 2nd set, and get cut off, as I was on stage, 2 songs in.. by the tour manager… Something about Tim has a playlist he wants to hear before he goes on.. I awkwardly jump on the mic and give my brother a shout out, and do a sign off, then leave the stage while we figure out what’s going on. Go back up as there’s a slight chance I might play again, but nope. Told to come off and I’m done for the night… Later find out me DJing and being on the mic was “too distracting” for Tim’s sound crew to do a line check.. wow ok.

I wasn’t going to post anything about it, but I can’t stop thinking about it lol Ive been going to the Orono Fair since I was a kid and I was STOKED for this gig for 6 months! Spent late nights prepping music, building a set list, and hyping it up to friends and family who I knew were coming. And to have the rug pulled out from under me, right as I was getting warmed up, left me gutted..

Nothing against the Orono Fair! They were absolutely fantastic and just as upset about this as I was/am, and the Silver lining, they want me back next year! 🔥

Happy I could get my brother Liam a picture with Tim as we were loading out too! He’s a big fan and was looking forward to it as soon as tickets went on sale (he made sure he told Tim 😂)

All in all, it is what it is, and I guess that’s show business! They weren’t there to see me, and maybe they didn’t want me over shadowing the Headliner.. that’s what I’m going with 😂

Sorry for the rant, but I’m using this post as closure so I grow and move forward! If any big name artists read this, remember not to forget the little guy! We were all once starting out, and excited to play the big shows, especially in our home town!

Amazing day! Incredible party! Had the leafs game on, but it diddnt kill our vibe 😎

This was a big one for me as it was my 90th wedding in the !

The count to 100 is on. Although EVERY wedding is special and I treat it that way, it’s good to recognize milestones when you reach them. Especially if you never even considered coming close !
