I found a nice public boat launch to set up camp in. I was2 miles form Tennessee end of The Dragons Tail I left the trailer there during the day and rode the local road but after 4 day of that I'm moving on

Virginia was beautiful every one I spoke with was very friendly. I camp on a fire road off the Blue ridge parkway middle of nowhere all alone it was great. But the following day on Blue ridge I was forced off the road by an 18 wheeler who want to occupied the same space as I . Almost rode it out until front wheel caught a rat throwing the down and me over the handle bars. I am fine a little sore bike is still rideable. So I decided I would call it a day the following day I was feeling sick. ( dehydrated I think) so happy to get out of Virginia

Made it to Front Royal Virginia. Camping at Goonie Creak Campground before fiting Shenandoah National Park

Riding the Appalachians is amazing. I loved riding the twisty hill under the canopy of trees.

After not get enough sleep Friday night. I only made have to Saturday destination. I stop to take a little break but it became obvious I was done for the day off to nearest over price campsite.$45. For a tent site ridiculous.
