Changes to Podcast Atlantic Coming Soon

Since January 1, 2018, I have been thrilled to have offered my services as a podcast producer through my company Podcast Atlantic. The end of my seventh year is fast approaching and I have decided that I will be moving Podcast Atlantic from a for profit business to a hobby/non-profit organization.

Sometime in the next few months, before the end of this year, I will shut down the podcastatlantic.com website. This means that the directory of Atlantic Canadian podcasts I collected for the last 6 plus years will disappear. Podcast Atlantic only live on Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Instagram. I look forward to using my “retirement years” helping those individuals or non-profit organizations technically and creatively create their own podcasts. More on this later.

There are a number of people I would like to thank for the last seven years. First, I would like to thank CEED and my CEED mentor RJ Decoste for the education and support. I want to thank Keith Gelhorn of ADDvocacy for his direction and friendship. Next, I want to thank Mark Hobbs for convincing me to apply to LaunchDAL. Best decision I could make. Sarah MacLellan, thanks for supporting my entry into LaunchDal and for sharing all your podcast knowledge. To Paul Douglas of Melon Design, who created the Podcast Atlantic logo. Thanks for all the help that you gave me over these past years. To Paul Wesson who got the website up and running. Thanks for your patience. To all my clients and their wonderful guests, it was an honour working with you. Thank you for trusting me to be your podcaster. And of course, to my wife and son for being there when it was tough going and celebrating the successes.

As stated above, Podcast Atlantic will live on in the form of my hobby and non-profit. There will be and exciting announcement coming soon. Going forward please watch for more information on all the Podcast Atlantic social media platforms.
