I am very happy to be able to finally release the project that has kept me busy over this last winter and spring. "The Born Fisherman" follows the journey of local sport fishing guide Steve Veloso from this early years, to his modern day struggles. This documentary was filmed entirely in the Comox Valley and Campbell River, BC. We look at the impact that sport fishing has on the local business community as well as the efforts being made to ensure a sustainable fishery. I hope you enjoy watching this film as much as I enjoyed creating it.

We had a great day filming down at Rosewall Creek today on my latest documentary project. Much of this winter is being spent talking to various local Comox Valley residents about the importance of sport fishing to our local business community. This is a subject with considerable depth and has an effect on so many.

This weeks adventure in film making includes working along side a camera crew from a major Canadian broadcaster. They are shooting throughout various locations in the Comox Valley for an upcoming adventure reality series. The weather could have been better but the scenery never disappoints.

I had a blast today finally getting to watch the Vancouver Island premier of Safarzade, a feature film that I had the privilege of shooting on last fall, all around the Comox Valley. What a great bunch of cast and crew it took to bring this film to life. Well done everyone.
