A year ago I launched The Watercolor Nook.

A watercolor membership for homeschooling and unschooling moms needing a relaxing and regulating hobby while also connecting with others who love it too.

I can’t believe it’s been ONE year 😱

And that we have painted over 50 paintings!! 🤯🤯🤯
A couple are missing because I gave them away as part of our Paint It Forward week.

If you want in and paint something seasonal and new every week, the membership is currently closed but will reopen in June when I launch The Watercolor Nook Experience, a kind of open house/peak into what to expect in the membership without committing for a month!

Not trying to be dramatic over here 😂

But let’s be honest. Running a small business can be hard.

Running a small business while unschooling at the same time AND your partner is working full time is just another level of hard.

I love what I’m doing but there’s just not enough time to do the work to reach as many moms as I’d like to help.

“A joy shared is a joy doubled; a sorrow shared is a sorrow halved.” Goethe

When I read about this quote in a book I’m reading,
it felt so deeply true.

Sharing our joys and sorrows is such a big part of what makes this life sustainable. Being able to do that with people who get you is truly amazing and essential. We really aren’t meant to do this alone.

I’m grateful for friends I can keep in touch with while we travel and for the Virtual Kitchen Table community by and I’ve now been part of for a year (yesterday exactly, time flies!).
It’s been so great to connect on zoom twice a month. If you’re looking for a nurturing space, I really recommend it 💜

And if you’re craving a space to simply create and share your paintings with others, you’re always welcome to join us inside The Watercolor Nook ✨

It’s been so special to share this joy for almost a year now 🥰
