I posted a video yesterday on YouTube about researchers conducting a necropsy on a Bryde’s Whale which had died on the shoreline of Port McNeill Bay. The whale had never before been seen off Western Canada and are normally only found in warmer waters, never venturing north of Los Angeles, California. Here’s the link:

1st responders and search and rescue volunteers searched for a crashed vehicle along Highway 4 on March 21st but discovered it was an erroneous iPhone crash detection. Cell owners are asked to properly cancel detections if the warning goes off and they are not in difficulty.
