🎙️ Want to be part of something meaningful?
Our recent volunteer gathering was full of energy, ideas, and connection, and now we’re inviting you to join in!

Locally Grown Radio is powered by community members who bring their passion, creativity, and heart to every aspect of the station. Whether you're into music, organization, tech, or outreach, there’s a place for you. Here’s how you can help make local radio thrive:

🛠️ Production – Shape the sound of the station with editing and audio magic.

🎨 Arts & Socials – Create visuals, manage social media, and help us shine online.

📻 Programming – Guide what goes on air and support diverse, engaging content.

💰 Financial Development – Help keep the station funded through grants and community support.

📋 Governance – Join in on strategic decisions that shape our future.

💡 Tech – Keep the behind-the-scenes systems running smoothly.

🤝 Volunteer Coordination – Welcome and support new volunteers.

🎶 Music & Talk Showmakers – Host your own show or collaborate with others.

🎉 Events & Community Outreach – Bring Locally Grown Radio into the heart of the community.

Community radio grows stronger with your voice.
If something here speaks to you, we’d love to connect. Message us or visit our website to learn more and get involved!

Thank you to everyone who came out to yesterday’s volunteer meeting!
It was so inspiring to see a full room of motivated people, all excited to contribute to community radio here in the Comox Valley. The kind of connection that happens when people come together to support their community is something special.

We’re sharing a few photos from the evening, captured by Jamie Bryant 📸—and you’ll spot the incredible local treats we were lucky to enjoy, thanks to Bigfoot Donuts, Blue Spruce Ice Cream, and Frankie Jo’s Bakery and Cafe. We’re so grateful for the community support!

It really feels like something meaningful is growing. The energy around community radio—Locally Grown Radio, as we’ve been calling it—just keeps getting stronger. 💛📻
