We are super excited to announce that Veterans and the Checkered Flag has been accepted into the Veterans Film Festival, and will be screening at 14:30 on November 14 at the Bob Hope Patriotic Hall in LA!
We submitted to a number of festivals - and this part of the process is always a bit frustrating for me (not big on waiting for things), so it feels really good to have a premier!
The event is free - so anyone can swing by and check out the flick (And I hope you do!). This project means the world to us, and we want as many people as possible to see it!
Anyone who knows anything about the project and what we've been up to the last couple years, knows that we're trying to draw eyes to important issues in our Veteran communities and break down some of the stigma around mental health. All the while, we are trying to highlight some of the amazing people and programs who work tirelessly to support those in need.
