People keep acting like using AI voices means you’ve got no “real talent.” 🙄 Let’s set the record straight. Every artist you listen to already uses digital tools I’m just upfront about it.

🎛 DAWs (Studios in a Box)
Nobody’s cutting tape reels anymore. Every pro is in FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, or Cubase. That’s how modern music is built.

🎙 Vocal Tools
You think your favorite singer didn’t touch tech? Auto-Tune, Melodyne, Nectar, Waves plugins all standard. They correct pitch, smooth levels, and polish tone.

🎚 Mixing & Mastering
Every hit goes through iZotope Ozone, Waves, FabFilter, Sound Forge. That’s what makes a track sound “radio ready.”

🎵 Instruments & Sounds
Half the songs on charts use virtual instruments: Native Instruments, Serum, Omnisphere, Spitfire orchestras. Nobody calls Hans Zimmer fake for using them.

🧹 AI & Cleanup
Already mainstream: iZotope RX, stem splitters, vocal enhancers. AI voices are just the next step.

👉 Here’s the truth:
Talent is talent. If you can write, perform, and move people, no tool takes that away. A bad artist with great tools is still bad. A great artist with new tools? Unstoppable.

AI isn’t killing music. It’s just another instrument in the arsenal. 🎶🔥

Who I Am & What I Do
I’m Dano West — first and foremost a songwriter, second a music producer with a digital voice.
You’ll never see me up on stage belting out a song. My voice is digital, my lyrics are real.

I create original, copyrighted songs that may be performed by other artists. That means the words, the stories, and the emotion come from me, but the performance might be in someone else’s voice — digital or human.

Yes, I’ll make videos. Yes, you might see me out in public selling merch — shirts, bumper stickers, swag. But unless I get struck by lightning and suddenly have the voice of an angel (spoiler: not gonna happen), you’ll never see me behind the mic.

Here’s a little truth bomb: since auto-tune came out many years ago, most voices in music today are enhanced or synthesized in some way. Mine just skips the pretending — it’s 100% digital from the start.

🎯 My mission: grab your attention, pull you into the story, and make sure the music sticks with you long after it ends.

🎵 Maple Blood, Red White & Everyone – Dano West

[Intro – Spoken over harmonica & slow guitar]
"Fifty-three years… still proud to be here.
But if you’re spreadin’ hate?
That ain’t my Canada."
(steel guitar slides, slow harmonica bends, boots scuff the stage)

---

[Verse 1]
Maple leaves fall on every skin tone
From the Rockies high to the Maritimes stone
I’ve shared my bread, passed the rye
With folks from every flag that flies
Straight, gay, brown, black, white
We’ve stood together in the same fight
Hate’s the crack where the cold winds blow
I ain’t lettin’ it take what I know
(kick drum thump like a heartbeat, crowd clap building slow)

---

[Chorus]
Maple blood, red white & everyone
We shine the same under the same sun
If your heart beats true, you’re part of the land
If you’ve got hate, we won’t shake your hand
Same boat, same river runnin’ wide
In this Canada, we row side by side
(band hits hard, harmonica wail, cymbal crash into the last line)

---

[Verse 2]
I’ve met angels and devils in every race
Kindness and poison wear the same face
Don’t call out a name like it’s a crime
Don’t judge a man by the old headline
It’s the loudest fools outside the fight
Pretendin’ they’re heroes in somebody’s right
If it ain’t your business, don’t speak the hate
We’re stronger when we close that gate
(guitar lick answers each line, snare hits crisp and sharp)

---

[Chorus]
Maple blood, red white & everyone
We shine the same under the same sun
If your heart beats true, you’re part of the land
If you’ve got hate, we won’t shake your hand
Same boat, same river runnin’ wide
In this Canada, we row side by side

---

[Bridge – Spoken, harmonica low]
"Look past the shade, past the name, past the sound.
The real measure of a person?
It’s in how they treat the people around ‘em."
(bass hums low, guitar picks slow, crowd silent)

---

[Chorus – Full Band, crowd chant]
Maple blood, red white & everyone! (HEY!)
We shine the same under the same sun! (HEY!)
If your heart beats true, you’re part of the land! (HEY!)
If you’ve got hate, we won’t shake your hand! (HEY!)
(crowd claps in time, harmonica screams into final line)

---

[Extended Outro – Spoken over rising jam]
"This is my home, my fight, my pride.
We row together, or we sink apart.
Maple blood runs through every one of us…
I’ve seen it in the kindness of strangers,
in the laughter around a fire,
in the helping hand when storms roll in.
And you can take that to the bank.
— Dano West is just gettin’ started."
(final guitar slide, harmonica wail fades into cheers)

---

Now it’s fuller, more visual, and sonically alive — you can feel the stomps, hear the harmonica scream, and see the crowd getting into it.

If you want, I can tighten the live crowd chant even more so they’ll be yelling the hook back at you without missing a beat. That’ll make it explode at festivals.

Want me to do that version next?

🎸 Maple Blood, Red White & Everyone – Dano West | Canadian Outlaw Country Rock Anthem
🔥 A grit-soaked outlaw country rock anthem from Dano West — stompin’ boots, wailin’ harmonica, and firebrand vocals delivering a unity message Canada needs to hear. If you love Canadian country rock, heartfelt lyrics, and songs that stand for something, this one’s for you.
🎶 STREAM IT. SHARE IT. STAND WITH IT.
🌎 Why I Wrote This Song:
For 53 years, Canada has been my home — from the Rockies to the Maritimes, from big cities to small towns — and what I love most is the diversity. My friends come from every walk of life: straight, gay, Black, white, Mexican, Filipino, Ukrainian, Russian, Muslim… we’ve laughed, argued, shared meals, and stood together.
This song is about pride in that unity — but it’s also a stand against the hate and racism I’ve seen creeping in. Good and bad exist in every race, every culture. Skin color, names, accents — none of that should divide us. We’re all in the same boat, rowing the same river. And if you’ve got hate in your heart, this isn’t your Canada.
🎸 Genre/Music Style:
Grit-soaked outlaw country rock with stompin’ boots, wailin’ harmonica, and firebrand male vocals — a unity anthem that bleeds pride and grit.

🎶 Maple Blood, Red White & Everyone – Dano West
An outlaw-country-rock unity anthem with grit, pride, and no tolerance for hate.

🌎 About the Song:
For 53 years, I’ve called Canada home — from frozen lakes to summer fields, city streets to small-town bars. I’ve seen its beauty in every shade, accent, and handshake. My friends come from everywhere — straight, gay, Black, white, Mexican, Filipino, Ukrainian, Russian, Muslim — and we’ve laughed, argued, danced, and stood side by side.

This song is about what I love most about Canada: the diversity, the resilience, the fact that we’re all in the same damn boat. It’s also a middle finger to hate, racism, and anyone who thinks they’re better because of their skin, name, or where their family came from. It’s a reminder that good and bad doesn’t come in a color — it comes in character. And if you can’t show respect? You can walk on.

With boots stompin’, harmonica wailin’, and a riff that rides like a freight train, this track is a call to row together or sink apart.

🎶 Dano West – Hands in the Wood 🌲🎸

🌟 About the Song:

Hands in the Wood is more than just a track — it’s a piece of my life. This song came from the simple truth that some of the best peace you’ll ever find is built with your own two hands.

I’ve lived a life of highs, lows, sawdust, and smoke. From the feel of cedar grain under my fingers to the smell of fresh-cut pine in the morning air, I’ve found healing in the work. My garden, my music, my stories — they all come from the same place: a steady grind, a deep love for the little things, and nights under festival lights where the beat and laughter carry you away.

It’s a nod to where I’ve been, the lessons the wood has taught me, the calluses I’ve earned, and the joy I’ve carved out of loss. This is my peace, my craft, my legacy — all in one rhythm.

---

📜 Full Lyrics:

[Intro]
(Yeah...)
Mm-hmm, yeah yeah
Sunrise hit my face, I feel good...
Coffee steam curlin’ through the morning air
Smell of cedar sawdust floatin’ everywhere
Boots by the door, got my work jeans on
Hammer in my grip before the day gets long

[Chorus]
Hands in the wood, I be buildin’ my peace
Growin' green in the back, life’s a sweet little feast
I don’t rush nothin', let it flow like the beat
Festival nights, dancin’ light on my feet

[Verse 1]
Grain in the board, I sand it smooth
Nails in the frame, I set that groove
Tools in the shed, soul on cruise
Blowin’ on loud, I got nothin' to lose

Morning dew drip, plants look blessed
Fingers in dirt, I don't feel stress
Life so simple when you love that mess
Built my joy, now I wear it like a vest

Smell of pine and fresh-cut oak
Life’s in the laugh and the words we spoke
Every plank a story, every joint a rhyme
Sweatin’ through the day but it’s worth my time

[Chorus]
Hands in the wood, I be buildin’ my peace
Growin' green in the back, life’s a sweet little feast
I don’t rush nothin', let it flow like the beat
Festival nights, dancin’ light on my feet

[Verse 2]
Wrist got callus, but my heart stay soft
Climbin’ through days that I built from the loss
Every splinter taught me the cost
But I laugh with the breeze when the pressure come off

Stage lights flash, I’m in the zone
Bass hit deep, I feel at home
People all around, but I’m still alone
In a good way—yeah, I’m grown

Bonfire smoke in the cool night air
Old friends laughin’ like we got no cares
Stories roll out with the beat of the drum
We toast to the days and the nights still to come

[Bridge]
Don't get caught in the spin, let it ride out
Joy in the little, that’s what I’m 'bout
Breeze through life with my feet in the ground
Head in the clouds when that green come 'round

Smokin’ on sage, lettin’ bad vibes fade
Workin’ with my hands is the life I made
From the garden rows to the festival stage
I write my peace on a wooden page

[Chorus]
Hands in the wood, I be buildin’ my peace
Growin' green in the back, life’s a sweet little feast
I don’t rush nothin', let it flow like the beat
Festival nights, dancin’ light on my feet

[Verse 3]
Sunset glow paint the yard blood-red
Another day’s work layin’ soft in my head
Stacked up boards and a line of jars
Stars comin’ out like midnight scars

Guitar hum low on the porch swing seat
Toes keep time to a backwoods beat
Jayden laughin’ in the yard barefoot
Memories made where the roots run deep

I got cedar dreams and a pine-scent plan
Life built better when it’s built by hand
A little bit of dirt, a little bit of rain
A whole lotta heart in this wooden frame

[Outro]
Hands... in the wood...
Life feel good...
Floatin’ on vibes like I knew I would...
Yeah, hands in the wood, that’s where I’m found
Workin’ my peace from the ground on down
Feelin’ that flow, just ridin’ it slow
This is my life, and I’m lettin’ it grow

🎙️ Song Title: Between Me and Them

🎸 Genre: Outlaw country rock with dark Americana roots — blending haunting acoustics, gritty vocals, ambient effects, and emotional swells to confront religious trauma with raw, rebellious heart.

---

🕊️ Why I Wrote This Song:

Growing up Roman Catholic in the ’80s wasn’t just about Sunday mass — it was about fear, guilt, and control dressed up as faith. I was an altar boy, I went to catechism, confirmation — I lived it. And for years, I carried the weight of being told I’d burn in hell for simply questioning or straying.

This isn’t an attack on God — I still close my eyes and pray. I still believe. But what messed me up wasn’t spirituality... it was the institution that weaponized it. The sermons, the threats, the pressure — that stuff runs deep, and a lot of us never got to talk about it. Until now.

This song is therapy. It’s for every person who’s ever feared the God they were told to love, and for everyone who's found their own way back to peace, between the noise and the silence.

---

🎧 Full Lyrics:

> 🎙️ “Between Me and Them”
(Spoken intro – quiet reverb, church bells, soft organ)
“They told us to fear Him before we could spell His name…
We kneeled more than we stood.
And they called it love —
But it felt a lot like chains.”

---

[Verse 1]
Raised on holy water and whispered shame
Sunday suits and mama’s flame
Catechism drilled in deep
No time for doubts, no space to weep

I lit the incense, served the wine
Little altar boy playin’ holy mime
Scared to sin, scared to stray
Scared He’d strike my soul away

---

[Pre-Chorus]
They said He loves you, but not like that
You better fear Him — imagine that
A God that watches while you sleep
And damns you for the thoughts you keep

---

[Chorus]
But it’s between me and them now
A whispered prayer, not a golden crown
I don’t need a steeple, I don’t need a stage
I talk to the stars when I’m filled with rage

I ain’t lost — I just walked out
Of a house built on guilt and shout
So don’t tell me who to fear or forgive
This heart’s still beatin’ and I still live

---

[Break]
“You will burn… eternal… repent…”
(distorted sermon echo, fading into silence)

---

[Verse 2]
Mama said I’d burn for strayin’
That my thoughts were demons playin’
I was just a kid tryin’ to breathe
While stained glass windows made me grieve

Dad stood quiet, took the pew
Got baptized just to follow through
Whole towns built on holy pride
While quiet kids just learned to hide

---

[Bridge]
But I found peace in broken skies
In w**d and wind and open eyes
In love that didn’t come with fear
In silence where the truth felt near

I ain’t damned, and I ain’t blind
I left the dogma, not the divine

---

[Chorus – reprise]
It’s between me and them now
I don’t need stained glass to know how
To give my thanks, to heal my pain
To rise above that old refrain

I’m not ashamed of how I pray
I just do it in my own damn way
No choir robes, no fiery threats
Just whispered hope, no more regrets

---

[Extended Outro]
“I still believe in something higher...
But not the fire, not the shame.
Not the books that broke us —
Just the light that still remains.”

One last candle flickers in the dark,
Not for saints or sins, just for a spark.
Of all the things I used to fear —
I found my peace right here.
Between me... and them.
