The goal of Big Turnip Records is to compile, preserve and record folk music which is deeply related to the Atlantic Canadian region, with its roots firmly planted in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Big Turnip Records is inspired by folklorists such as Helen Creighton and Alan Lomax with a strong focus on collaboration. PSA: This week, Big Turnip Records will be launching a vinyl & Digital Pre-Order campaign for the long anticipated compilation, Big TURNIPS Vol 3. A four song Sampler of what we have been working on. Purchase of said four song Sampler guarantees you a vinyl and digital copy of the entire album, as well as supports this endeavor.

We have been in just about every month this year working hard to bring you what we believe will be the best Big Turnip release to date. Very excited to share it with you all.
