Personally, something that has made me feel good this week is seeing all the community spirit around the Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede. From the parade on Friday, to the rodeo, the midway, the pancake breakfast, and so on it is all great and so much fun to participate in. Happy Stampede to everyone and remember the most important thing to be safe and have fun!

💬Question of The Day: With the annual fall fair parade taking place tomorrow, what is your favorite part of a parade? Floats? Music? Candy?

For me, it’s a combination of the music and seeing what float designs are new versus classics that don’t need to change because they are great the way they are. Also, I enjoy seeing how excited the kids get as the parade goes on whether it’s their first parade or their 100th.

💬Question of The Day: Would you rather attend/see a concert indoors or outdoors and why?

Personally, I would rather see a concert indoors because then the temperature is controlled, it is less likely to get cancelled than an outdoors concert, and it sounds louder for some reason to me. Also, if it’s a venue you have been to before you know where everything is, you know the best food spots, and you have a built-in confidence after being there before. Also, keep in mind this is after I have attended multiple concerts both indoors and outdoors.

💬Question of The Day: With the Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede starting tomorrow, what is your favorite part or the one thing you look forward to every year?

Personally, for me it's gotta be the fair food as what other time of year can you get this type of food. Plus, there is something for everyone; On the savory side of things you have corn dogs, chips on a stick, etc. Also, don’t forget about those with sweet tooths either when you can order deep fried oreos, mini donuts, etc. If I had to pick a 2nd favorite thing it would be the chuckwagons as I enjoy the sport aspect/competition amongst all the drivers.

💬Question of The Day: What is something that has made you feel good lately?

Personally, going to the library, picking out some books I want to read, and actually committing to reading them on a consistent basis has made me feel good this week. The Dawson Creek library also has an adult reading challenge I am trying to compete in as well, my goal is to try and finish 3 books by the end of August. Also, I forgot how much I enjoy reading until I started doing it again because I used to read a ton as a kid. However, in University you read for education and so I am just now getting back into it as an adult reading for fun again.
