Chris Ludwig - Sonatas Volume 2
The recording of Christopher Ludwig's second album of Sonatas is well underway.
We have finished recording his Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, part of his Tuba Sonata, and are about to record another Sonata for Oboe and Piano.

Chris Ludwig - Sonatas Volume 1

This is the pre-release of composer Chris Ludwig's newest 10th recording of his compositions, which features his sonata for violin and piano, as well as his two sonatas for flute and piano.
Danielle Marcinek and Mr. Ludwig perform the second flute sonata (five movements).
If all goes well, early this summer we will begin recording the second album of this expansive four album series dedicated to the Sonatas of Mr. Ludwig.
Many thanks to Alina Khvatova, Mark McGregor, Danielle Marcinek, Teresa Bowes, and Frank Ludwig for making this wonderful project and recording come to life.

Defective Recollection - New Release!

Defective Recollection is Canadian Composer Christopher Ludwig's 9th cd release and consists of his latest Art Songs for Baritone voice. This album features Baritone Cliff Ridley, Christopher Ludwig on Flute, Alina Khvatova on Violin, and Tatiana Khvatova and Danielle Marcinek on Piano.
This newly recorded album contains settings of the composer's own poetry, as well as two settings of the Adages of Erasmus. The album is an artistic journey through the composer's childhood memories; a voyage attempting to make sense of the imperfect and confusing nature of the echos of past memory, image and emotions, as they ripple into the present and future.

Defective Recollection is a broad artistic vision inspired by memory and childhood, realized by Baritone Cliff Ridley and Pianist Danielle Marcinek.

Hammer with a Master is Canadian Composer Christopher Ludwig's 8th cd release and consists of his works for accompanied and solo flute. This album features Alice Hu, Christopher Ludwig, Mark McGregor and Jeff Pelletier on Flute, Alina Khvatova on Violin, Tatiana Khvatova and Danielle Marcinek on Piano, and Tatiana Khvatova and Frank Ludwig on Harpsichord.

This newly recorded cd contains works written over a span of 28 years and reflects Mr. Ludwig's wide range of compositional styles and techniques, all of which remain melodic within their contemporary genre
