VAC minster, Jill McKnight sat with us at yesterday.

2 things I took away:
1️⃣ Unless we get rid of our parliamentary government or have more veterans become MPs, we’ll never have a veteran expert running VAC

2️⃣The minister is flying blind. She doesn’t have any advocacy organization to query when it comes to policy decisions. Plenty of small groups that in no way reflect the majority of veterans.

There’s a lot of ground to cover to get our VAC minister up to speed. Recognizing she’s the 4th minister in as many years was an important first step.

There’s no continuity and even less connection with the veterans on the ground.

Let’s hope to see more outreach like this through great organizations like

Easter is a time of reflection, resurrection and rebirth.

I recently wrote about how I looked at coaching veterans from a very siloed perspective - Physical, Mental and Spiritual fitness.

All have their specialists and are worked on independently. I’ve come to realize that this isn’t true.

The U.S. Army realized this isn’t true many years ago and even wrote a guide about it. That’s how important it is to being healthy and lethal.

I wish all my brothers and sister a very happy Easter.
