Once again,I am hiring! I am looking for someone Monday-Friday from 12 PM-1:00 PM. I am a quadriplegic so I need help preparing and being fed lunch As well as other duties that may arise. I am located in downtown Halifax and parking is provided. No personal care experience required! Pay is $20 per visit.

Duties include:
Preparing meals
Feeding
Person must be reliable, Caring, And pet lover (I have a cat)

This would be a great opportunity for a student looking to earn some extra cash!

Dalhousie University's MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance is hosting three scenario planning sessions to explore how the tourism industry can better support people with disabilities. Principal investigator Kevin Quigley and accessibility advocate Kevin Penny join us.

I am an outgoing quadriplegic looking for support to help me with my daily living needs. I am specifically looking for someone to support me with my personal care on
Thursday and Sunday evenings from 7 PM until 9:30 PMAs well as Saturday morning from 9 AM-11:30 AM. Successful candidate will be paid for a 3 hour shift
Duties include:
Using Mechanical Lift to transport me from wheelchair to bed whereby I will then take care of my bowel routine. Following that routine, I would then be transferred into a shower chair and showered and settled in bed for overnight.
More details:
I’m located in downtown Halifax and parking is provided.
5 minute walk to Water Street bus terminal
No personal care experience required. All training will be provided. Pay is $17 per hour.
Person must be reliable, caring and dependable. Expected start date Sunday, April 30.
Experience working with persons with disabilities an asset
Must be pet friendly as I have a cat
