Today My Love has officially been cancer free for 5 years
When you hit the 5 year milestone they no longer say ‘in remission’, they say ‘HEALED’.
We’ve dreamed of this day.
We’ve worked towards this day.
Now here we are and I’m at a loss for words.

Yesterday my best friend asked me if it felt like a million years ago? I look at the people in these pictures and videos and want to jump through the screen and beg them to keep the faith, cause the other side of the journey feels SO GOOD

We kept laughing at how anticlimactic the entire procedure was (and how rude the damn nurse was)

While Kolter stayed in the hospital for two weeks post transplant, my mom helped me. Prayed with me. Encouraged me. And sometimes even let me cry lol
