**Update as of 10:23 AM (October 26, 2025):

Island Health has said anyone seeking emergency medical care are able to get treatment at CDH.**

Emergency crews are on the scene at Cowichan District Hospital after a vehicle drove through the front door.

There has been no official announcement from RCMP on the particulars of the accident at this time.

Also, there are no reports of injuries.

Chemainus Fall fest is on now — and the weather is not stopping any of the festivities!
