Sometimes emotions feel urgent, like you need to act on them right away.
But that feeling doesn’t last forever.
Many urges follow a certain pattern:
they will rise, peak, and then pass.
Learning to pause, even for a moment, can help you respond instead of react.
This is one of the foundational skills I focus on in my upcoming newly updated workbook — building awareness and learning how to move through urges with more control and clarity.
