Yummy! Keizer's Freshmart has cinnamon rolls right out of the oven this morning! And they are going to add icing on them too! Delicious! A great treat for a wet Wednesday! They are located at 81 Cow Bay Road, Eastern Passage.

It was an exciting weekend in Halifax as SailGP returned for its second race weekend in the city!

Thousands flocked to the harbour to witness GrandPrix racing on the water, which saw Spain finish as the winner of Halifax SailGP 2026, their first win of the 2026 season. They now sit second overall in the standings, denying Australia a record breaking fifth consecutive win.
Canada finished 7th out of 13, after some exciting finishes from the team.

The Bluenose II was also in town, bringing numerous people on board to watch the race up close. The CSS Acadia was also open to board and view the race.

The waterfront was buzzing the entire weekend, jam packed with music, food, racing and some up and down weather.

SailGP will return to the Halifax Waterfront next year, in 2027.

Today, 105.9 Seaside FM ventured across the bridge to Halifax where we were guests at a luncheon. It was at the West End Baptist Church, Halifax and Sandy B. was the guest speaker. The topic was the story of 105.9 Seaside FM as we approach our 24th anniversary of being on the air full time (August 1st party at Fisherman's Cove). It was a pleasure to meet the great people and thank them for having us over! And lunch was delicious! Thank you again it was a really nice way to share a meal.
