Studio Vu

Studio Vu Studio Vu is a new multipurpose studio that provides rehearsal space by the hour during the day or by the month during the night. Great for all music genres.

This spring we plan to offer full recording services as well as broadcast services for live casts. Current Equipment Provided By Studio Vu and included in hourly and Monthly Rentals:

Studio A - Monthly Rent: $260/month includes 2 timeslots per week.

-Pearl Export Drum Kit (Kick Drum, Snare, Tom, Floor Tom, HiHat, Crash and Ride)
-PA - 24 Channel Mixer (recording to daw capable) into 2 Power amps

. One amp powers 2 front monitors, one amp powers Drum Monitor
-4 Mics/Stands
-Guitar Amps (2)- Line 6 Spider II 150 watt head on 4x12 Randall Cab. Modeling Amp with channel switch/expression/volume pedal. Crate 120 watt head on 4x12 Cab. More suitable for guitarists using pedals.
-Bass Amp - Yorkville head on Yorkville 4x10 cab and Peavy 2x10 cab

Studio B - Monthly Rent: $225/month includes 2 Timeslots per week

-Pearl Export Drum Kit (Kick Drum, Snare, Tom X 2, Floor Tom, HiHat, Crash and Ride)
-8 Channel Powered Peavy PA Mixer with 2 monitors and 2 Mics and Stands
-Hartke 60 Watt Tube/Hybrid Guitar Amp
-Crate 220 Watt Bass Amp

We are please to announce that we have officially opened a second room that has immediate space available for rent. Monthly rent in this space is $225/month, which gets you 2 timeslots per week.

Current available timeslots are:

Studio B

Mondays 6-Midnight
Tuesdays 6-Midnight
Wednesdays 6-Midnight
Fridays 6 - Midnight
Saturdays 6-Midnight
Sundays 6-Midnight

We also have 2 timeslots available in Studio A available for December.

We are almost full for November. Just Monday nights and Saturday nights left in the main studio. We are opening Studio B November 1st so will have a full slate of nights and days available. Just working out pricing details for that room. More info coming soon!

We have available monthly rental studio rehearsal time coming available for October.

Mondays 6pm-Midnight
Tuesdays 6pm-Midnight
Thursdays 6pm - Midnight
Saturdays Noon – 6pm
Saturdays 6pm- Midnight

Monthly rent is $225/month and gets you 2 Timeslots per week (of your choosing)

We will also be opening a second rehearsal room on October 15th so even more space will be made available. Stay tuned for details....

With Covid Restrictions ending it's time to start promoting the studio. For July we have Monthly rentals available for Thursday Nights (6pm - Midnight) and Saturday/Sunday Days (Noon - 6pm). Rates are $225/ month which gets you the two slots per week. Please send us a DM for more info on Monthly Rentals.

For hourly rentals (available in 2 hour blocks), we have bookings available from Monday to Friday 11am-5pm.

Also Thursday Nights 5pm-9pm and Saturday/Sunday Day 11am-5pm are available for hourly bookings as long as these days are not rented monthly.

The first time a band rents space from us an application for must be completed detailing band members information. Only those whose names appear on the form are allowed access to the studio.

Welcome to Studio VU. Edmonton's newest rehearsal studio offering monthly rates and hourly rates in two hour blocks.

Located just south of Whyte Ave our studio provides bands with a PA, drumkit and Bass and Guitar amps. Of course you can bring your own equipment as well.

We will be open for hourly bookings starting April 19th, 2021. Covid Protocols will be followed.

All band members booking must have a government issued form or identification and upon first time booking a band information and rules form must be completed. Links to these forms are provided at the top of the page so they can be filled out in advance.
