This past month has been a rollercoaster, both mentally and emotionally. However, yesterday felt different. It was a good emotional day and truly a day of history in the making. I stood proudly alongside my colleagues, friends, and most importantly, my son, Dominik.

Dom often experiences my work firsthand. He sees me planning and marking at home, coaching after school and on weekends, and since we’re at the same school, he witnesses everything that happens before, during, and after the day ends. Having him stand beside me yesterday was such a proud and grateful moment.

We will continue to fight for our students and the future of education. It’s not easy, but we’ll keep standing tall together and we won’t be pushed around.
