A True Friend Brings You To Light
Don’t hate the friend who offers you a solution instead of a cover-up.
When you have wronged someone, and a true friend chooses not to attack you with anger or condemnation, but instead points you toward the right path—listen.
Not everyone who tells you the truth is against you. Sometimes, the person who challenges you is the very one who cares enough to keep you from going further down the wrong road.
A friend who exposes the darkness isn’t trying to destroy you—they’re trying to bring you back into the light.
Be careful not to mistake correction for hatred, or accountability for betrayal.
A true friend won’t help you justify your wrongs. They will have the courage to tell you what you need to hear, because they care enough to see you become better.
Sometimes, the greatest act of friendship is not covering your mistake, but helping you make it right.
