You can't talk to your staff, spouse, or kids? That's vulnerability talking. You haven't learned to be UNCOMFORTABLE. You don't know you'll be okay if you fire someone. Resiliency can be relearned at ANY age.

“The Vagus Nerve Wave”**

Everywhere you look, people are suddenly talking about the vagus nerve.
Search volumes are exploding. Wellness communities are obsessed with “vagal tone.” Medical journals are scrambling. Social media is full of hacks, breathing tricks, and quick fixes.

But here’s the real question…
Why now? And what does this mean for us as chiropractors?

In this 2-minute clip from the newest podcast episode, I break down why interest in the vagus nerve is skyrocketing — and why our profession is uniquely positioned to lead this conversation.

The world is looking for nervous system regulation.
They’re looking for safety, connection, predictability, rhythm.
They want to understand why they feel stuck in protection and how to get back into healing.

This is what we do every day.

If chiropractors can catch this wave with clarity, confidence and congruency, we can finally show people what chiropractic really offers:
not a treatment for symptoms,
but a way to support the body’s natural ability to regulate, adapt, and thrive.

Watch the clip.
Share it with a colleague.
And let’s rise with the moment we’ve been preparing for.

What a weekend at the CNAC National Convention.

One of my favourite parts of chiropractic events is exactly this—standing in the hallways, catching up with friends, mentors, and the next generation coming into the profession.

In this moment we were talking with Dr. Peter Kevorkian about the history of our profession and the lineage of the many techniques that shaped where chiropractic is today.

Because as we all know…
The real learning doesn’t just happen in the seminar room.
It happens in the hallways.
In the bars.
In the conversations that flow long after the sessions end.

Grateful for weekends like this, for CNAC, and for the chiropractors across Canada who keep our profession growing, connected, and deeply rooted.

Most people think chiropractic is about pain.
It’s not.

It’s about connection.

When the nervous system is in defense, it disconnects from the body, from emotion, from others. The adjustment isn’t about “fixing” something broken, it’s about restoring communication inside the system so the body can do what it’s designed to do: heal, adapt, and connect.

Chiropractic isn’t an alternative to medicine — it’s an alternative to disconnection. 💫

Hearing different perspectives can create a real shift in thinking. Opening minds, not proving them wrong, allows for new possibilities. The goal is to inspire them to say, 'Well, I never thought of it that way.' It's about opening minds, not closing them.

Too many people mistake quitting for healing.
Resilience isn’t about “bouncing back”, it’s about adapting forward.

In this clip from our Informed Chiropractor Mentorship Call, we unpack what real, neurological resilience looks like. It’s not just mental toughness; it’s the body’s ability to stay engaged, to find creative movement even after a setback.

Because healing isn’t about doing nothing… It’s about finding new ways to do something safely.

If you’re leading people through healing, growth, or recovery — this one will hit home.

When the nervous system feels safe, everything changes.

From inflammation to communication — every system in the body starts performing differently once the nervous system stops defending and starts connecting.

That’s the foundation of the MacDonald Safety Corridor Protocol, helping chiropractors and their patients create a state of neurological safety so the body can shift from protection to regulation.

When adjustments are delivered through a Polyvagal lens, they’re not just mechanical. They become an invitation for the body to trust again. Fascia releases. Breath deepens. The vagus awakens.
That’s when true healing happens — not by forcing the body to change, but by reminding it that it’s finally safe to.

This is what happens when your presence regulates before your words even land — when your nervous system teaches before your hands ever adjust.

That’s the work. That’s the Safety Corridor.

Birmingham, England 🇬🇧 — what a weekend.
Thank you to everyone who reached out after Brandi’s talk. 💬
You could feel the room lean in as she unpacked the disconnection between sensation, safety, and self.

Most people say “I’m healthy, except for…” , not realizing their body’s been whispering for years.
We’ve lost the language of the nervous system sensation.
And when people finally reconnect, they often say, “I don’t have words for this.”
That’s the work we do.
That’s chiropractic through a Polyvagal lens. 🌿

🎥 From Brandi’s keynote at the 25th Anniversary in Birmingham, England.

🎸💆‍♂️ Every chiropractor starts as a cover band.

In the beginning, we copy the greats — learning every technique, every “riff,” just like a musician learning songs note-for-note. But eventually… that gets boring.

The real artistry begins when you stop copying and start creating your own music — your own technique, your own rhythm, your own impact.

That’s when chiropractic becomes an expression, not just an adjustment. 🎶✨
