Meet our inspiration for Benny and The Cosmic Light Bearers! The character of Benny comes from our flesh and blood, Great Pyrenees dog, Benny! At the dog park, Benny is the biggest guy around at 135 pounds. The Great Pyrenees is a mountain dog bred to be a guardian dog for shepherds in the Pyrenees mountains of France. They protect the sheep, goats and other flock animals from the various predators. Similar breeds have been used to protect other defenseless animals such as chickens, small penguins and others. Thus, why not use this caring, protecting aspect that is bred into these dogs to protect our children. Indeed, our Benny has shown love for babies, children and elders - those who can’t protect themselves.

We are excited to announce that our Kickstarter for Benny and The Cosmic Light Bearers is launching this week.

Our team has been working to bring this project to life for a long time now and your support is essential to begin the next step of our journey.

Benny and The Cosmic Light Bearers is an animated series for children. There is nothing else like us out there. Our series is about educating and preparing children for all the things they will have to overcome in their young years, through inspirational stories and lessons. We value the generations to come and hope to inspire them to deal with situations that they may face through hope, faith, peace, love, charity and joy while navigating their young lives.

This is just the beginning of a long journey ahead of us. To succeed, we need your help. Please spread the word about Benny and The Cosmic Light Bearers, follow us on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, or pledge towards our Kickstarter Campaign to support our journey.

Our current project is a children’s cartoon called “Benny and The Cosmic Light Bearers”.

This animated series is about Benny and his band of Light Bearers that live in the cosmos. When he uses his superpower of being able to detect the cry of a child, he calls forth his team Love, Faith, Joy, Peace, Charity and Hope to come to the aid of that child. They descend on the wings of an eagle and Benny endears himself to this child. As the situation develops, each of the Light Bearers use their own unique powers to smooth out the situation. They work with both the child and the antagonist(s) to bring them together as friends.

Introducing Brad Trofin, our animation director.

After high school, Brad discovered the amazing art of animation. He took a classical animation course in Calgary where I excelled creatively and artistically. Soon after receiving his degree, he began to create short animated films. One particular film entitled “Hate Mail” was awarded “Best Short Film” in Chicago’s “Cinema International Animation Film Festival”. He has since moved on to other projects, including his freelance business called “Bradleez Cartoons”.

Meet Natalia Chai, our Operations Manager/Sound Manager

Natalia is your “Asian, R&B/Neosoul singer-songwriter and friendly pharmacist”. 5 years into the music industry, Natalia has already released 2 albums, 6 singles and is continuously working on new projects to be released later this year! Natalia also broke into the film industry composing and producing soundtracks for short films with CBC. In addition to her music, Natalia is an independent community partner with the Mental Health Commission of Canada as a keynote speaker for students across Alberta.
