No cap and gown yet, but this chapter is officially closed ๐โจ
Last lecture, last walk on campus, last submit button as an undergrad.
Grateful for the late nights, breakdowns, coffees, and the person I became here ๐คโโจ
No matter my circumstances, no matter having four kids and a thousand responsibilities, I moved slowly and steadily toward the goal I knew I wanted ๐๏ธ๐ช๐ผ
I still remember that woman back in 2015 when i came to canada (she follows me here too ๐) who was a student at that time. I asked her for advice on how to start. Instead of support, she dismissed my back-home degree, told me university here was โtoo hardโ for someone like me, and even laughed sarcastically when I mentioned grad school โ like it was something I was never meant to reach.
Todayโฆ Iโm done with my undergrad, I already have a grad school offer, and if God wills, I might pass the LSAT and enter one of the hardest faculties in Canada ๐คฒ๐ผ๐โจ
Never let anyone decide what you can or cannot achieve.
If you want to study, start. If you want a degree, go for it.
Your dreams are valid at any age, from any country, and with any background ๐คโจ๐
