We had the opportunity to support the 2025 Alberta NDP Convention at the Edmonton Convention Centre, delivering full AV production in Hall A, sound support in Hall B, and seamless AV across 4 breakout salons.

Well there's a first time for everything!

For the past 8 months, our team at Kiwi Productions has been working closely with four of Edmonton’s largest schools to design and deliver one of a kind graduation ceremonies and proms for their Class of 2025.

Every detail from AV design and logistics to CAD floor plans of the Butterdome and custom LED Video Wall entrance archways was carefully planned to give these students a celebration they’d remember.

Then, just four days before load-in, the unthinkable happened! A fire incident shut down the Butterdome.

With between 3,800 - 5,500 attendees per school, we knew this would require one of the biggest pivots in our company’s history. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Butterdome staff, a new venue was secured almost immediately - Hall B & C at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

What followed was a whirlwind 48 hours of re-designing the full AV, rigging and logistics plan from the ground up. Our team worked around the clock alongside the team at the Expo Centre and each school’s grad committee to ensure the students still got the celebration they deserved!

We are so proud of our team, and especially our CEO - Bryce Lambert, who personally led the AV transition with precision and care.

To the Edmonton EXPO Centre team - thank you for jumping in with us and supporting this massive shift.
To the Butterdome team - thank you for your quick action and coordination during a difficult moment.
To our clients - thank you for your trust. We never take it for granted.

We always have a Plan B but we never imagined it would have to be at this scale. This was a moment of true collaboration, resilience, and heart.
