Edmonton Short Film Festival The Edmonton Short Film Festival is a unique festival presented to showcase Alberta short films.

The Edmonton Short Film Festival was created to offer a venue for independent Alberta filmmakers to screen their short films. Since its inception in 2013, the ESFF has grown to include opportunities for filmmakers to learn and connect with each other.

Happy Holidays! We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who helped make 2025 an amazing year for ESFF. From the filmmakers who allow us to screen their films, to the volunteers and venues who help host our events, and to the guests who bring their passion and love for film! We couldn't do it without you!

We hope you enjoy this holiday season with your loved ones, get well rested, and we'll see you in 2026 for another amazing year!
